In this class, we will be learning how to use AI tools such as chaptGPT, craiyon, textmagic, narakeet, invideo, beatoven, CapCut, genmo and more to create audio, visuals, videos and more to generate audio, visual and video.

Requirements: Personal Computer, a Gmail account.

Sometimes may be inappropriate, offensive, or biased in a variety of ways. Generate Media with AI

This is where your voice and face gets to shine! Students will be challenged in each class to either record a piece of audio or perform on camera, based on a theme. Practice your voice and train your on camera presence in this fun filled class.

We will be watching, studying and analyzing some of the amazing short films on Disney+. So we can better understand what it takes to make a short video that has an engaging story and is fun to watch.

Students will learn various editing techniques in CapCut by following along with step by step instructions to make their own version of the class project of the class.

Students will work individually in this advanced 8 weeks class to make 4 short films:

Video Poem, Music Video, Documentary and Narrative.

Requirements: Personal Computer, phone/camera, ringlight, mic (optional)

  • Week 1

  • Monday - Introduction about the type of short film students will make

  • Tuesday - Video explanation and assignment of writing the script

  • Wednesday - Students work on their script

  • Thursday - Students turn in script to receive feedback

  • Friday - Video instructions on how to shoot the short film

  • Saturday - Students shoot their short film

  • Sunday - Students must share raw footage with the teacher 

  • Week 2

  • Monday - Video instructions on how to edit the short film

  • Tuesday - Students work on editing their film

  • Wednesday - Students turn in a rough draft of their short film

  • Thursday - Feedback on all on student work

  • Friday - students must turn in their final short film.

Let's Make Short Films

Students will develop their own youtube channel, and work through a step by step process to create and upload their first video.
